In 2005 the first Charlotte Black Gay Pride weekend of events occurred. These annual festivities started with over 7,000 attending and continue with over 17,000 in attendance. We are planning for our 13th Anniversary Celebration with the theme I AM… and are looking for returning and new sponsors.

The LGBTQIA Community continues to grow within Mecklenburg County and throughout North Carolina, especially in the African-American community. CBGP strives to meet our vision to empower the hearts, minds, and spirits of all LGBTQIA people, while embracing diversity, uplifting the community, and working to bring social change. We have succeeded in doing this for over 12 years by providing an eventful Pride, and providing support to other LGBTQIA focused organizations. The community looks to our organization to provide them with educational and recreational programs to enhance their way of life.

As we begin a new season, one of the biggest and most eventful weekends is coming upon us: Charlotte Black Gay Pride 2018! Our annual weekend of events will begin Wednesday, July 25, 2018 and culminate Sunday, July 29, 2018. We will have events focusing on health and wellness, spiritual growth, and an Expo with local businesses and organizations providing information on their services and local entertainment. Our annual weekend of events is FREE to the public. In order to provide them with these fun, engaging, interactive activities, we need your financial support.

Please find attached our sponsorship package which includes a wide range of levels; the Diamond, Platinum and Gold sponsors will have a host of marketing opportunities throughout the CBGP events and Pre-Pride season. CBGP is a 501(c) 3 tax exempt charitable organization; our EIN is 26-4735241. Thank you for taking the time to review our sponsorship packet. Please see the contact information below if you have additional questions or would like to confirm your sponsorship level. We look forward to your support. Thanks again!

Pride-fully Yours,
